Allthread (or Studding) is generally fully - threaded bar.
Studs are also referred to as Engineer's Studs, although it is common for lengths of allthread (or studding) that are cut to size to be known as Studbolts, whilst a length of bar with a plain portion and threaded ends is generally known as an Engineer's Stud.
Double-ended Engineer's Studs of equal thread length are known as Tie-Rods.

Gary Stevens joined the former Thomas Smith & Sons back in 1993 as a YTS working in the Despatch office before joining Garton International in 1997.
Gary has supplied goods worldwide from supplying steel to the Tostem Railway in Hong Kong to selling U Bolts for the Channel Tunnel linking England and France.
Gary has vast knowledge of the export market and can supply goods to the exact requirement of the customer.
Outside work Gary is married to Emma and has a daughter named Annabel. He is also well known throughout the North West as captain of Astley & Tyldesley Road Runners who are an up and coming running club.
