Socket Cap Screws are available in Metric and Imperial and are typically manufactured to Grade 12.9, although 8.8 and 10.9 are also available as specified in continental European markets.
Stainless Steel available - including A2, A4, B8, B8M.
Hexagon socket drive - either a hexagon driving bit or wrench key is used to tighten the screw.
Metric range from M1.6 to M36 diameter, Imperial range from No. 0 to 2".

Service load ability in application is equivalent to strength grade 10.9 - due to the geometry of the fastener
Head angle for metric countersunk socket screws is 90 degrees up to & including M20 and 60 degrees over M20.
Head angle for Imperial is different - Unified 80 degrees and British threadforms are 90 degrees

Gary Stevens joined the former Thomas Smith & Sons back in 1993 as a YTS working in the Despatch office before joining Garton International in 1997.
Gary has supplied goods worldwide from supplying steel to the Tostem Railway in Hong Kong to selling U Bolts for the Channel Tunnel linking England and France.
Gary has vast knowledge of the export market and can supply goods to the exact requirement of the customer.
Outside work Gary is married to Emma and has a daughter named Annabel. He is also well known throughout the North West as captain of Astley & Tyldesley Road Runners who are an up and coming running club.
