Super Duplex Bolts

Garton International are manufacturers of Super Duplex UNS 32750 and S32760 Fasteners.

Super Duplex stainless steels have a duplex microstructure of 50:50 austenite and ferrite, offering high strength and ductility, as well as superior resistance to stress corrosion cracking.

Super Duplex has a PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) of > 40, and a higher Chromium content (around 25%) than standard Duplex stainless, offering better corrosion resistance and achieving improved mechanical properties.

This combination of high strength, good ductility and superior corrosion resistance makes Super Duplex stainless steels ideal for demanding and harsh environments.

UNS S32750

UNS S32750 offers high mechanical strength, with a yield strength of up to 570 MPa, ductility and excellent resistance to corrosion.

High Molybdenum, Chromium and Nitrogen content means excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in marine environments.

UNS 32760

UNS S32760 offers high mechanical strength, with a yield strength of up to 600 MPa, ductility and excellent resistance to corrosion.

When compared to S32750, S32760 contains slightly more copper and tungsten. The increased copper content provides improved corrosion resistance in inorganic acids, such as hydrochloric and sulphuric acid.
